CJC-1295's GH/IGF-1-raising effect was shown in randomized, placebo-controlled trials in healthy adults, and ipamorelin's selective GH-release profile (without meaningful cortisol/prolactin rise) was shown in preclinical models and small human PK/PD studies — real evidence for each half of the pairing individually.

Neither component has completed a full FDA drug-approval program
CJC-1295 never reached approval (its later Phase II lipodystrophy trial was discontinued after a subject death, judged unrelated to treatment) and ipamorelin's development also ended before approval — so this remains a compounded off-label combination, not an FDA-reviewed product.
