TRIUMPH-1 (Phase 3, reported May 2026)
Participants on the 12 mg dose lost an average of 28.3% of body weight at 80 weeks, with 45.3% of participants reaching 30% or greater weight loss — a magnitude historically associated with bariatric surgery. This is trial data in a controlled research population, not a real-world outcome.
TRIUMPH-2 and TRIUMPH-3 (Phase 3, reported July 2026)
TRIUMPH-2 showed weight loss and improved glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes and obesity; TRIUMPH-3, in adults with severe obesity and cardiovascular disease, showed up to 22.6% average weight loss along with reductions in triglycerides and blood pressure.
Regulatory status
