It's important to separate two things that get conflated: pharmaceutical-grade, regulated Tβ4 that has been through real clinical trials, and the unregulated "TB-500" injectable products sold online — those are not the same evidence base.
Thymosin Beta-4 binds actin, a structural protein that helps cells move, and is believed to support cell migration to wound sites, new blood vessel formation, and reduced inflammation — mechanisms studied in both topical dermal-healing research and, in a separate program, corneal-healing research.

Critical caveat on injectable TB-500
The clinical trial data above is for regulated, pharmaceutical-grade topical Tβ4 formulations. Injectable products sold as "TB-500" have not been tested in any completed Phase 2 or Phase 3 trial for tendon, muscle, or ligament injury and carry no equivalent regulatory oversight or safety data.
